So, without wasting any more time lets dig into this review to find the best product that fits with your family.
This UPPAbaby VISTA is one of my favorites and comes at the number one in our list due to its classy look, top-quality construction, and long-lasting performance. Coming to price, then it’s not cheap but doesn’t worry because the versatility will give your everything for the money you spend. Besides the top-quality frame and toddler seat, it also includes a bassinet.
Features and Performance
The UPPAbaby can be used for one infant along with one car seat/bassinet or a regular toddler seat. However, when it is used a twin stroller than it can be used with two MESA Infant Car Seats, two toddler seats, and two bassinets. In case, you want to use it for one toddler and one infant at a time than it offers seating combinations like MESA + Bassinet or Rumble Seat + Standard toddler seat.
The included Standard seat can be used for a toddler weighing up to 50 pounds. It also comes with generous canopy with a sun visor that not protects the child from harmful UV rays but from insects too.
The reversible feature is a one-handed deep recline. At first glance, you’ll see the seat has a bucket-like shape which means the whole seat will go down not only the backrest. As it can’t be reclined to a flat position which means it’s not recommended for new-borns.
There are some other features too such as user-friendly harness, soft padding, adjustable calf rest, and bump bar.
However, the Rumble seat functions the same as the standard seat but smaller in size, as it is intended for siblings. It is sufficient for babies aging 2 to 2.5 years but you can easily use it for babies aging 3 years or weighing about 30 to 35 pounds.
And the best thing is the PiggyBack board—which is intended for pre-schoolers who usually like to walk but sometimes need something to rest one when going on a walk. This feature enables the UPPAbaby VISTA to accommodate three kids in one go.
The Baby Jogger City Select comes at number two in our list and is another stroller that is intended to be used on all terrain. It gives about 16 different seating combinations which are a great plus for growing family. Great one!
Unlike Vista, there is no bassinet included in the box which means it includes a regular frame and a standard toddler seat. Ans compared to an above-mentioned competitor this one is almost half in price.
Features and Performance
When used as a single stroller it can be used as a single reversible toddler seat, both rear and front-facing Bassinet, or Infant Car Seat.
A double stroller offers a total of 11 seat configurations which is much more than the expensive VISTA. If you want to use it as a single-to-double stroller than you are going to need a regular seat, and sibling seat—keep in mind the sibling seat is sold separately.
The best thing you can use BJ City Select with two bassinets or two City Go Infant Car Seats if you have you have newborn twins. You can attach bassinet on the top of the toddler seat which enables you to keep an eye on your little one while strolling.
The toddler seat has generous padding, that features adjustable calf rest along with a multi-position recline setting. Just like VISTA this one also has a bucket-like seat which means you can’t use it for a newborn because the lowest reclining position is not fully-flat.
This Evenflo Pivot Xpand Modular Travel System comes at number 3 in our list due to a reason—because this one is budget-friendly as compared to its competitors. The majority of expandable strollers are expensive in price but that’s not the same with this one.
Evenflo Pivot Xpand Modular Travel System includes toddler seat, SafeMax Infant Car Seat, lower and upper in-built adapters and one cup holder. With all these features it still cost way less than VISTA.
Features and Performance
This Very Single-to-Double Stroller allows you to attach up to two Infant Car Seat at once in both front and rear-facing positions. And the best thing—you can convert toddler seat into infant seat. Like the above-mentioned strollers, this one is also not reclined to a completely flat position but somehow you can use it for children aging about 3 months.
As the SafeMax Infant Car Seat and Toddler Seat included in the box—that surely enables you to use them both at the same time. The infant seat at the top—so, when you are using it as a double stroller your little one will be facing you and the older baby lying in the lower position will face front to have a look in surrounding or will facing you while having a nap.
The Evenflo enables you to use it for one child, for twins, and for infant and toddler. This is multi-functional and if you are looking for an inexpensive version than this one would be a good pick.
The best thing is that the sibling seat and standard seat both have the same size which can be placed in lower, middle, or upper positions easily—and each of them can effectively accommodate up to 55 pounds.
Another convenient thing that you are going to love most is the built-in adapters—so, you don’t have to worry about attaching and detaching, or losing them. For attaching the seat in lower position flip the adapters out of the storage basket and for when you need to put the seat in upper position just slide the adapters up.
The toddler seat offers easy to do one-handed three-position recline. However, the lower position is deep but you can also, adjust the calf rest to make nap time more comfortable for baby. But there is one thing where it lacks that the infant mode is not fully flat which is not comfortable for newborns.
